Mark Hoover, CEO

Mark Hoover has been involved in the technology and market development of networking technologies over a period of almost thirty years, including 10-BASET, IP routing, FDDI, ATM, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Ethernet Switching, Firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers. Most recently, he has been a Venture Partner at Woodside Fund for two years. Prior to that he was the president of Acuitive, a strategic marketing consulting firm that helped define product and market strategies for start-ups, including Brocade, Alteon Websystems, Netscreen, Maverick Semiconductor, Redline Networks, and many others. He started his career at AT&T Bell Labs and moved to SynOptics/Bay Networks before founding Acuitive.

Junaid Islam, Founder, President and CTO

Junaid Islam has played a leading role in the development and commercialization of many data networking technologies. Junaid has multiple inventions and patents to his credit including the industry's first Gigabit speed deep packet inspection platform which is the foundation of Bivio Networks and the PIANO mobility protocol. Junaid also shares a patent for the distribution of live HDTV events over IP infrastructure with Emmy award-winning producer Don Mischer.

Lawrence Lu, Vice President of Engineering

Lawrence Lu has more than 20 years of high-tech industry experience, including key leadership roles from the last 10 years in the Gigabit Ethernet switching, content delivery, network security, and ad networks. Before joining Vidder, Lawrence was a director of engineering at an ad networking company. Prior to that, Lawrence was founder of Array Networks where he served as vice president and CTO. Previously, Lawrence worked at Alteon Web Systems (acquired by Nortel Networks) where he developed Layer-7 switching technology. Lawrence also managed Cisco Systems PIX Firewall development team.
