St. Peters Episcopal Church of San Francisco uses Vidder to broadcast its Sunday services to members who may be traveling, incapable of attending, or who may have moved but still have ties to the church. This outreach allows members to maintain their spiritual connection to the Church no matter what their situation happens to be at 10 a.m. on Sundays. The Church doesn't want to charge for this capability or limit viewership. But it also doesn't want commercial ads showing up in and around the webcast. So it has integrated its Vidder Web page directly into the Church Web site to maintain total content control. Leveraging Vidder technology, it has also integrated PayPal into its Web page for donations, as well as announcement scrolls thanking donors and sponsors. The church is also using Vidder to webcast weddings and other services.
